This is an online Ministry for Prayer Warriors, who realize that the time to pray about a crisis is ... well ... ALWAYS. We should NOT be tricked into action by a disaster ... we should always be praying.
Most importantly, the kind of prayer I am talking about is not what we do at home, in private -- when we are asking God for what WE want: you don't NEED a group for that. I am talking about people who will commit themselves to the Ministry of Intercession: praying for others, even -- and ESPECIALLY -- for those whom we may not care for.
I envision a place where:
- Democrats pray for Republicans
- Conservatives pray for Liberals
- Believers pray for Atheists and Communists
- Tea Partiers pray for Obama
- Folk in 'Da Hood pray for George W. Bush, and Pat
Robertson, and Rush Limbaugh
- Americans pray for Taliban and Al Qaeda
- Christians pray for Buddhists, and Atheists and Muslims ... You get the picture
I envision a STRATEGIC Ministry eventually reaching the Planet, where Intercessors commit to watching and/or reading the daily news, and praying for each news item and the people affected (Crazy, huh?)
I envision a Ministry where Christians pray for OTHER Christians -- even if we have theological differences ... and where the Prayer Warriors will pray for those inside the Body of Christ who are tearing each other down I refer here to the constant bickering between PREACHERS that's going on over the Internet, these days]
I pray that God will allow me to be a "Big Brother" of sorts to those brethren and sistren -- and that He has granted me SOME wisdom over these near-35 years in Ministry to stand at the forefront in interceding for his Church ... until the day we all rejoice together in Glory!!!
